State Bar of Texas Offers Free Video Series on Alternate Legal Careers

If you’re considering a career outside of the traditional law practice, the State Bar of Texas wants to help. TexasBarCLE is offering a four-part video series as part of its free Online Classroom.

Attorney and consultant, Kate Neville, produced the videos. They are being offered in conjunction with Neville’s popular 2014 TexasBarCLE live course “Alternative Careers for Lawyers: What Are My Options and How Do I Get There?”

All of the courses are free, but they do not offer MCLE credit.

“It’s basically a how-to-guide of interviewing and networking,” said Neville,¬†of Washington, D.C. based Neville Career Consulting. “These videos are intended to be a resource throughout your search.”

The series includes the following parts:

Alternate Careers Introduction
Alternate Careers Part 1: What Are You Looking For?
Alternate Careers Part 2: Tell Me About Yourself
Alternate Careers Part 3: What Are You Looking to Make?
Alternate Careers Part 4: Answering Specific Job Interview Questions

Click here to register at TexasBarCLE. You will also find other TexasBarCLE offerings, including some free MCLE-accredited online classes offered six times a year.
