TCWLA Honors Legal Trailblazers

On January 20, 2016, the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association held its annual Pathfinders Luncheon to honor local women attorneys who have blazed trails and are leading inspiring careers.  TCWLA’s 2016 Pathfinder award recipients are (pictured left to right):TCWLA Pathfinders Luncheon (caption in story doc)

  • Judge Sarah Eckhardt, Travis County’s first female county judge;
  • Sedora Jefferson, Former Austin City Attorney and current General Counsel for the Texas Association of School Boards;
  • Lisa Tsai, Founding partner of a nation-wide law firm who secured a $287.5 million trial court victory in 2015; and
  • LaRu Woody, Veteran prosecutor who fought to protect the family both inside and outside the courtroom, and who continues to fight even in retirement.

TCWLA appreciates the opportunity to celebrate these women and to learn about their paths to success, both professional and personal.
