2017 Bench Bar Conference: Call for Presentations

The Austin Bar Association Bench Bar Committee is seeking speakers on cutting edge topics for the 2017 Bench Bar Conference.    This year’s theme is:

bench-bar-beyondIdeally, topics should touch on the latest technology, legal trends, or societal changes. Bench Bar 2017 will be held at Austin Country Club on Friday, May 12, 2017, and will have over 200 attendees, both lawyers and judges, from all practice areas.

Attorneys are invited to submit abstracts of presentations by Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, to be considered for inclusion in the program.  These presentations can be on case studies, best practices or other topics of interest to the attendees and should relate to the theme of the conference.   Click here to download a .pdf of abstract outline.

  • Criminal Law
  • Ethics
  • Entertainment Law
  • Family Law
  • IP Law

  • Anything else related to technological or societal changes

Persons selected to serve as presenters will be provided with complimentary registration for Bench Bar 2017.
