Needy Pets and Their People Donation Drive

The Austin Bar Association’s Animal Law Section is holding a supply donation drive during the spring and summer of 2018. The goal is to help pets and their owners on the economic margins, such as the homeless, the working poor, the homebound, and senior citizens stay together by helping them through tough times.

Our donation recipients include:

  • Pet Food Bank of Austin & Travis County
  • Foundation for the Homeless Feed My People Program
  • Mobile Loaves & Fishes

The following are some wish-list items for the people and pet recipients:

  • Dog Food (unopened): kibble or canned
  • Cat Food (unopened): kibble or canned
  • Pet food/water bowls
  • Pet Crates
  • Dog & Cat Beds
  • Towels
  • Kitty Litter
  • Scratching Posts
  • Collars
  • Leashes
  • Dog Houses
  • Pet Food Containers
  • Petsmart, Petco, Walmart Gift Cards
  • Electric Fans
  • Face washcloths
  • Men’s underwear
  • Men’s & Women’s white tube socks
  • Pocket size tissue packets
  • Travel-size toiletries
  • Travel-size hand sanitizer
