The University of Texas Club, Austin's Premier Private Dining Club, is now offering preferred rates for members of the Austin Bar Association. Lloyd Lochridge American Inn of Court Accepting Applications

Applications are being sought for the Lloyd Lochridge American Inn of Court for lawyers with between one and eight years of experience. The Lloyd Lochridge chapter meets monthly throughout the school year, with each meeting including dinner and a presentation by chapter members or guest speakers on a legal issue through which you earn CLE credit. To apply, e-mail a letter stating your interest in joining the chapter, your resume, and two letters of recommendation. Applications are due by Monday, June 14 at 5:00 p.m. Send your application materials to the membership committee, c/o Dirk Jordan at dirk@dirkjordan.com, or call him with any questions at 697-0020.

Batter Up! AYLA Foundation's 14th Annual Charity Softball Tournament, June 19

Date: Saturday, June 19
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Location: S.E. Metropolitan Park, 5411 Hwy 71 E.
Cost: $300 per team
Register by downloading a form here. The entry form and entry fee are due on Friday, June 4. Please mail to AYLA Foundation, Attention: Debbie Kelly, 816 Congress Ave., Suite 700, Austin, TX 78701. Spaces are guaranteed for the first 16 teams who submit their entry fee by the deadline.

It's time to dust off the cleats and oil up the glove because the AYLA Foundation's 14th Annual Charity Softball Tournament is back to raise funds for the Foundation's many philanthropic causes. Teams are open to Austin attorneys, legal professionals, staff, and spouses or significant others.
