Austin Lawyer Wants Your Opinion!
The Austin Lawyer newsletter is launching "The Great Debate," a new point/counterpoint feature in our September issue. Each month, Austin Bar President Bob O'Boyle and Austin Lawyer Editor Candace Windel will debate a current issue, not solely from the perspective of what the law is, but considering how public policy may drive the evolution of law.
This month's question:
Was the State of Texas justified in seizing the minor children from parents at the Yearning for Zion Ranch?
Please e-mail your response to austinbar@austinbar.org with the subject line "Austin Lawyer Quote" and indicate whether you want your name included. The top 4 to 6 quotes will be included in the September issue of Austin Lawyer.
