Time: Noon to 1:15 p.m.

Topic: The Brain Game - How to Beat Stress, Stay Healthy, and Improve Your Mood with Food
Speaker: Rozana Zaifer-Sims, Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Are you stressed out from navigating the constant demands from your professional and personal responsibilities? When we become overwhelmed, we tend to act out - whether we overindulge our feelings with our food choices, or restrict our intake in a more harsh and punitive manner. Regardless of our coping repertoires, the emotional effects of anxiety will wreak havoc on our psyche and within our relationships. Come join Dr. Rozana Zaifer-Sims, a local clinical psychologist who specializes in eating disorders, discuss the importance of these timely topics and offer strategies to increase both awareness and action.
Meetings are confidential and held monthly on the last Thursday of each month (except for November, due to Thanksgiving). For more information, call Texas Lawyers Assistance Program at 800-343-8527.
