Free Legal Advice for Veterans, Monday, March 21
AUSTIN, TX - Central Texas veterans are invited to attend a free legal clinic at the Austin V.A. Outpatient Clinic, 2901 Montopolis Drive. Attorney volunteers from the Austin Bar Association will provide legal advice on a wide range of subjects, including bankruptcy, criminal matters, child support, divorce, and wills and estate planning.

When: Monday, March 21, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: Austin V.A. Outpatient Clinic, 2901 Montopolis Drive
No appointment is necessary. Veterans are encouraged to bring any paperwork that is relevant to their case.
This is the eighth clinic for veterans provided by the Austin Bar Association since the start of the project in May 2010. Almost 400 veterans have been helped through the legal clinics.
The Austin clinics are part of a statewide effort - Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans - led by State Bar of Texas President Terry Tottenham, an attorney with the Austin office of Fulbright & Jaworski. Austin attorneys Jo Ann Merica and Randy Howry co-chair the Austin Bar's Veterans Project Committee.
The Austin Bar Association, a nonprofit, voluntary association operated for charitable and educational purposes, represents nearly 4,100 attorneys in the Austin area.
