Settlement Week: March 16 - 20, 2009

The Austin Bar Association, in collaboration with the Travis County district judges, the County Court at Law judges, and the Dispute Resolution Center, is holding Settlement Week from March 16 - 20, which gives people a chance to settle their cases in a cost-effective manner with the aid of a trained, neutral mediator.

If you would like to submit a case, please fill out and submit the case submission sheet to the Dispute Resolution Center no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2009. The $25 administrative fee (checks made payable to the Dispute Resolution Center) should be delivered to the DRC with the case submission sheet.

The Austin Bar is looking for attorney mediators to volunteer in this public service project. Click here for a Mediator Form, due to the DRC no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2009.
