Topic: Foresight is 2020: Upcoming Issues for Electric Utilities
Speakers: Liz Jones, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC; Will DuBois, Lead Assistant General Counsel, Southwest Public Service Company; Patrick Peters, Associate General Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs, CenterPoint Energy, Inc.; Rachelle Robles, Director of the Legal Division, Public Utility Commission of Texas

This presentation will present a round table discussion among attorneys representing investor-owned regulated utilities in Texas and the Public Utility Commission of Texas.  Topics for discussion will include what impacts utilities are seeing in usage and whether utilities foresee any long-term changes as a result of the pandemic, challenges utilities and their regulators face in continuing to implement and apply existing rules and regulations, how regulated rates have been affected by the changing dynamics associated with the pandemic, and policy issues Commission Staff anticipates needing to address in future rate case proceedings.
