Civil Litigation Section CLE

Topic: Navigating the World of Contested Probate Proceedings and Fiduciary Litigation: A Guide for Litigators on the Ins and Outs of Probate Court and Fiduciary Litigation
Speakers: Michelle Rosenblatt, Jackson Walker; Daniel C. Bitting, Scott, Douglas & McConnico; Brian T. Thompson, Hopper Mikeska

The course will begin with an overview of the basic principles of wills, trusts, and estate planning.  The course will also focus on issues that tend to give rise to litigation including drafting errors, duties of executors and trustees, removal of fiduciaries,  and will construction/interpretation. The course will further provide information on how to navigate contested case proceedings in probate court and fiduciary litigation.
