Mindfulness-based stress reduction (for the workplace and beyond) – Sanieh Morgan will provide an educational lecture involving methods and strategies for reducing stress in the workplace by implementing yoga-based techniques, meditation and breathing. The lecture will offer tools for de-escalating stressful situations presented in the practice of law and provide guidance for recovery after moments of depletion and exhaustion.

Sanieh has been teaching yoga on a national and international level for 18+ years. Her formal areas of study include Prana Flow Yoga, Vipassana (insight) meditation, Transcendental Meditation (TM), Ayurveda, Kalaripayattu (Indian Martial Arts) and Somatics.
Drawing from her studies in evidence-based stress reduction, Sanieh’s teaching style focuses on the integration of present moment awareness and breath informed movement-both used as a means to self-regulate the nervous system thus aiding in one’s ability to cope with the fluctuations of the mind.
With a strong emphasizes in somatic awareness and Mindfulness-based stressed reduction practices, her aim as a yoga educator is to assist people towards optimal well-being while using the ancient practices of yoga in a modern, realistic way.
