Members Only 4th Friday CLE

Topic: Representing Asylum Seekers Pro Bono Under the Remain in Mexico Program
Speakers: Lindsay Gray, VECINA; Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch, Lincoln-Goldfinch Law, PLLC; Daniel J. Bleiberg, Jones Day

Under the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), also known as “Remain-in-Mexico,” thousands of asylum seekers find themselves waiting in Mexico throughout their U.S. immigration court process.  Current statistics show that less than 2% of these asylum seekers are represented, and those that do not have counsel are five times more likely to have their asylum claim denied.  This CLE focuses on representing asylum seekers subject to MPP pro bono. Upon completion of the CLE, you will be offered the opportunity to get involved, along with additional training and mentorship to guide you along the way.
