  • Automation in the practice of law. How to use automation to work more efficiently to better serve clients, reduce costs, and eliminate errors. Speaker: Joshua Weaver, Williams & Brown LLP (.75 hours partic. CLE)
  • Information Security Basics for Texas Lawyers. Identify ethical obligations requiring cybersecurity measures for all lawyers practicing in Texas; provide an overview of the components of an information security program; and describe specific settings for Windows and MacOS devices that solo and small firm lawyers can use to make their practice more secure. Audience members will be encouraged to share any innovative practices they use as well. Topics include solos practicing together using a combined name, building a niche practice, ways of effectively managing overhead to reduce costs, limited scope representation, practicing law by assisting other lawyers, effective use of free lance paralegals.
