Texas RioGrande Legal Aid
TRLA is modifying how they deliver services to prevent the spread of COVID-19 where possible. Starting March 17, 2020, all TRLA offices are closed to the public. Their phone lines remain open. If you need legal assistance, please call the hotline at (888) 988-9996. Intakes will be conducted over the phone and not in-person. All public outreach activities, including substantive law clinics and intake clinics, scheduled through April 17, 2020 are suspended immediately. Volunteer Legal Services
VLS has suspended in-person clinics through April 13, 2020 but they will be holding virtual clinics over the phone. For updates on help with evictions, and other legal services, CLICK HERE. is a free online legal advice website provided by the State Bar of Texas and Texas Legal Services Center that allows low-income Texans to post questions about their civil legal issues and receive answers from volunteer Texas attorneys.

Texas Legal Services Center has created this web page of COVID-19 resources, including several documents on eviction and tenants rights, forced quarantines, unemployment benefits, and others.
