The Animal Law Section of the Austin Bar is sponsoring a fundraiser supporting the Pets Assisting the Lives of Seniors (PALS) Program of Meals on Wheels Central Texas. The Animal Law Section has already donated $500 and is calling on the other 26 sections to match. 

All contributions go toward minor veterinary services, basic pet wellness supplies, and supporting the special dietary needs of companion animals of seniors.

Donations close on April 30 and can be made online here or by check. Checks should be payable to: Meals on Wheels Central Texas.

The following candidates are running for the AYLA officers and directors positions. The new board will take office on July 1, 2024, along with Emily Morris, who will serve as AYLA’s president. Morris has been on AYLA's board since 2019, and has served as secretary, treasurer, and president-elect.

This event raises money to fund the LGBTQ+ Scholarship, presented by the LGBTQ+ Law Section and the Austin Bar Foundation, to law students in Texas. The past two events have raised more than $33,000.
