The Animal Law Section of the Austin Bar is sponsoring a fundraiser supporting the Pets Assisting the Lives of Seniors (PALS) Program of Meals on Wheels Central Texas. The Animal Law Section has already donated $500 and is calling on the other 26 sections to match. 

All contributions go toward minor veterinary services, basic pet wellness supplies, and supporting the special dietary needs of companion animals of seniors.

Donations close on April 30 and can be made online here or by check. Checks should be payable to: Meals on Wheels Central Texas.

This event raises money to fund the LGBTQ+ Scholarship, presented by the LGBTQ+ Law Section and the Austin Bar Foundation, to law students in Texas. The past two events have raised more than $33,000.

Last year's crawfish boil won TYLA's Service to the Public Award. This year’s crawfish boil will bring together more than 100 local attorneys and their friends for a fundraiser benefiting the AYLA Foundation.
