Honorable Lora J. Livingston Fellowship Sub-Committee

A subcommittee of the DEI Committee, the Honorable Lora J. Livingston Fellowship Subcommittee manages the Honorable Lora J. Livingston Fellowship Program. This program ensures students have the opportunity to learn and develop a career in the legal community by enabling first-year law students from various life experiences who have overcome challenges to participate in law firm, governmental agency, and judicial clerkships. The Austin Bar Foundation provides a stipend to the students, which is funded by charitable donations from participating firms. To date, $410,000 has been awarded through the program. 

Time commitment: Quarterly one-hour meetings.
