The Veterans Legal Assistance Program is seeking Volunteer ESTATE PLANNING Attorneys to assist veterans, active and reserve duty military, and their families with drafting estate planning documents.
Gillespie County’s Veterans Service Officer, Tami King, is hosting a free estate planning clinic for eligible residents of Gillespie County and surrounding areas. Volunteers will be given contact information and completed estate planning questionnaires from the project coordinator on July 29, 2022. Volunteers will have the opportunity to speak with their assigned client(s) over the phone to discuss any questions or concerns about the estate planning documents. Once finalized, volunteers will be asked to return the completed forms to the project coordinator so that they may be printed, reviewed and notarized with the applicant during their appointment time at the legal clinic on August 25, 2022. Volunteers will not be required to attend the clinic but are welcome to join if schedule allows.
