Any qualified member not receiving the nomination of the committee may be included on the ballot by submitting a written petition signed by 75 members by Friday, April 7. Electronic ballots will go out on Friday, April 14, and voting will conclude at the Annual Bench Bar Conference on May 5.

The 2023 Law Day theme is “Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility and Collaboration.” The Bar will will host an essay, photography, and poster contest for local students centered around the theme. We are asking your firm to take part in this endeavor by helping the bar provide cash prizes and shirts for the student winners. The essay contest winners will win $500, $250, and $100 for first, second and third place respectively. The photography winners will win, $250, $100, and $50 and the poster contest winner will receive $250 for his/her class to use for a party, art supplies, or equipment.
