Now through the end of February, the Austin Young Lawyers Association will be supporting the Austin Diaper Bank.  The Austin Diaper Bank supports diaper need in all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. Your donations help us keep Central Texas families clean and dry. Below is a link to their Amazon Wishlist to purchase items that they need and send them directly to the diaper bank. If you could please comment "AYLA" when provided the opportunity. Members can also donate directly to the diaper bank at one of the locations listed on their website donation page (click HERE to see location drop offs). The Austin Diaper Bank is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm to accept donated diapers.  You can also leave donations in the outdoor bin outside their back warehouse door or at the outdoor bin at the Whole Foods Market downtown and Arbor Trails.

There is an immediate need for diapers in sizes 4, 5, 6, and tampons.

Click HERE to go to the Austin Diaper Bank Amazon Wishlist. For more information about the Austin Diaper Bank and how to support them you can go to austindiapers.org

On behalf of the Austin Bar Association, I would like to share the results of the 2022 Judicial Preference Poll with you. The poll was administered by a vendor independent of the Austin Bar Association.

I, personally, am thankful to have such esteemed and thoughtful candidates willing to serve as elected officials.  Travis County certainly appears to be in good hands for years to come. I wish each of you the best as you proceed towards early voting beginning February 14th and the primary election on March 1st.

Also, I thank each of you whom participated in our judicial forums. It was a privilege to host three engaging, informative, and professional discussions. Ensuring voters are informed is a priority for the Austin Bar and I’m glad you were able to assist us towards that end.

Sincerely,
David Courreges
President of the Austin Bar Association
