Austin Bar and AYLA Members are invited to attend “Travis County Court Townhall – Returning to the Courthouse.” Chat with Travis County Civil, Family, and Criminal Court Judges to discuss the return to in-person proceedings and other updates in the New Year. Famed attorney Sarah Weddington passed away on December 26, 2021. She was 76 years old. Weddington rose to national prominence after successfully arguing the landmark Roe-v-Wade case before the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973 at the age of 26. Read her obituary here.

Attorney volunteers will provide brief legal advice in their preferred practice area(s) to veterans in need at our free legal advice clinics which are held on the second Monday of each month (some dates vary). If you have questions about our program requirements or expectations, please contact Leslie Spatola.
