VLS’s Basic Litigation Seminar aims to provide you with the skills and resources needed to try a VLS general law case. This is a practical course emphasizing basic trial skills and Travis County trial court procedures. Use your trial skills to change lives. Date: April 19th

Time: 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Location: Travis County Civil and Family Courts Facility (CFCF), 1st Floor Multipurpose Room

If you will agree to take two cases during 2024, you can register HERE

The 2024 Expunction Expo will be held on April 27th in South Austin (address confidential, provided upon registration). The Expo will help residents remove old Travis County arrest records from their criminal history. Clearing an arrest record is called "expunction” in Texas. At the event, attorney volunteers will help community members expunge their Travis County criminal records, allowing them better access to both housing and jobs, as well as giving them a sense of relief. This is a one-day volunteer commitment.
